I am a reporter at Bloomberg, covering the weather's impact on businesses, markets, and geopolitics.
Previoulsy, I spent five years at Quartz, where I reported on the Hong Kong protests and China's ensuing crackdown, as well as industrial policies in the US-China competition.
I also spent several years as a researcher and analyst covering China's industrial strategies. My research and analysis have been cited in the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. My newsletter, a/symmetric (now on hiatus), provided weekly news and analysis on China's industrial programs and technological capabilities.
Earlier, I was a freelance reporter. My work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, CityLab, and South China Morning Post.
I am a member of the Alumni Advisory Board of the University Press Club at Princeton University. I was also previously a board member and press freedom committee member of the Foreign Correspondents' Club, Hong Kong.
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and politics from Princeton University, where I was a member of the women's track and cross country team, and co-president of the University Press Club. Prior to that, I attended Li Po Chun United World College.
